What an amazing little restaurant, I would have to say this is one of the best margarita pizzas and brushetta appetizers we've ever had! The owners and staff coulent nicer! Next time we're down from Boston , we will definitely make this one of our stops!
I can’t say enough about this gem of a spot - WOW seriously such an incredible place! Where to even begin - first, the hospitality is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Caroline and Mike make you feel so welcome the minute you walk in. When we ordered they took the time to tell us all about the ingredients in each dish and where they are sourced from. And then there was the food - oh my gosh, every dish we ordered was AMAZING. The hummus is homemade, and was incredible. The pizza was heaven. The kebabs were SO good, fresh and flavorful. And then the Caroline Salad - wow, I’m going to have dreams of that salad. If you’re in the area, driving through, or staying at the Great Wolf Lodge (like we currently are) this place is a MUST
I completely failed to take photos but that’s because we were too busy enjoying the experience and delicious food at this gem of a restaurant. We randomly searched for a place to eat and found this absolutely perfect spot. We were a group of 7 with 3 children and everything we ordered was amazing. Food is made from scratch to order. We had the lasagna, chicken Alfredo, pizza, Caroline’s salad, and some delicious bruschetta. Highly recommend for a date night or special occasions. The 4 on service is because the one gentleman taking orders got a little distracted and it took him a very long time to come back to take our order. Otherwise everything was phenomenal. Highly recommend!
We stumbled upon a gem of a place! The little store is so cute with home made products and a homey country vibe. You must buy the olive oils! 😀 The restaurant was simple, yet the food is amazing! Served on 4 inch live edge wood table tops, the freshly made pizza and lasagna is so delicious, authentic, and made with love ❤️ l Great place to enjoy with friends and share multiple pizzas (what we did), or there are individual sized meals as well ... hint hint... lasagna! If you're headed into Yosemite from San Francisco or vice versa, this is the perfect pit stop to make! Or, just make this the destination for good food and a good time! The owner also made the experience so special with her stories and little extras for the table. Just a great evening!
Probably the best pizza I have had in a long time! If you are ever in the area you have to try this place! Don’t judge it by the outside you have to go in and experience the atmosphere and super friendly service paired with exceptional food!
This is an amazing place to have the best Mediterranean and Pizza in the Central Valley. They have very nice oils and vinegars from Italy. The fact that they turned this into a restaurant made it even better. The products are kosher, the cheese is amazing and made fresh. The wheel of the best Parmesan imported is so tangy and perfect! Hummus...lemony and flavorful and creamy! The owner is the chef! Preparing fresh pizza dough or hummus??? YES they do!!! The presentation of the meals that you will be served here is magazine Worthy. The taste is Sublime. I say this with confidence because I was able to watch other customers talk with the owner and Express their gratitude from having such a wonderful experience. In fact the couple that was at the bar helped me decide what oil to get and that they lived out of town and still come 30 minutes to enjoy this wonderful place. Next door which is connected is a beautiful banquet room to book parties or receptions. The decor is very lovely with a chandelier and stringed lights. I will definitely be going back to enjoy more food, spirits, different olive oils and vinegars while inviting different friends to enjoy The Simple Pleasures from the olive oil Pantry Restaurant. Remember to pick up dinner or stop by on your way home from the Bay Area since this off the 99 before you get into Manteca. Or if you live in Manteca or Lathrop this is definitely a place to add to your favorites list.
No because WHAT DO YOU MEAN this place has been under my nose all along!?! So unassuming but holy crap literally the best pizza of my LIFE!!!! AND IVE BEEN TO ITALY!!! You essentially walk into a shed and then it’s the coziest homestyle restaurant with maybe 8 tables (??) the man that sat us was so lovely (and also OWNS THE PLACE) and his wife was running around serving the food and checking in on us too. Just the BEST atmosphere and you can see the open kitchen from all of the tables so it’s fun watching them stretching the dough and putting the pizzas in the oven. We started with the bruschetta which was delicious but the real show stopper was the pizza. We got a half pepperoni & hot honey and the other half was the margarita. They were both so insane!! I just can’t put into words how good it was haha we had to rush out to go pick up our kids but already have made plans to go back within the week haha long story short.. GO TRY THIS PLACE!!!
Had a great experience had a upscale dining experience while the feeling was a cozy atmosphere like you are eating with family. The food was really delicious me and the girlfriend really loved everything we ordered. Loved how the owners and staff where very welcoming. Glad we took the hour drive was definitely worth trying this place.

We ordered the half pepperoni and honey, half margherita, and it was delicious—the crust was perfectly cooked, and the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality. Great food, great ambiance, and excellent service. We’ll definitely be back!
We discovered a true hidden gem. Not only the food, but the owners, Mike and Caroline, too. From the outside you would not imagine the beautiful atmosphere inside. To top it off, everything is clean and freshly made. No cans or preserves. We so loved the Margarita pizza, so uniquely made. You won't find anything quite like it. The sauce is perfectly prepared, rich with flavor. You gotta try it! We also tried the fabulous BBQ Chicken pizza with white sauce. Oh wait, we can't forget how incredible the balsamic is, too, 18 years aged. We highly recommend. You'll see for yourself that it will be a most excellent choice. We'll be back to our new favorite place soon to have Caroline's lasagna.
